1. Lanny Davis certainly gave the impression that Bragg's case will be very well-corroborated.

Meticulous documentation to back the multiple-witness testimony.

This is why building air-tight cases takes time.

2. It makes sense why these are all so slow. They are being meticulous.

They do not want to take this to court and fail. On top of that, since it's a States case it cannot be pardoned down the road by another Republican president. I am not sure that I gleaned that from the Davis interview or something earlier.
