- I don’t think he can when a Dem primary
- I don’t think he can win a Republican primary
- if he runs as an independent, he won’t win enough Republicans or Dems to win the presidency

Sounds like a lot of hot air, self deluded egotistical muttering

He needs some kind of a base nationwide and I can't image who that base would be. He's not crazy enough for the MAGATs and he's too wishywashy for Democrats, plus he is unlikable.

that he wants to split the Democratic vote?

I can’t think of a single thing, other than helping us hold on to committee chairs, that he’s done for his own party.

we're held today. Biden 46 to Trump 44 I think. People willing to vote for Trump will not vote for Manchin. The leaves independants and never Trump Republicans to vote for Manchin.

He is so reviled on the left at this point, he’s more likely to take votes from the Republican then from Biden. He might even win WV over the Republican nominee which would be great!
