General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsTFG and his lawyers have known the exact contents of the indictment since Friday
and they are free to discuss it.
They reason they haven't disclosed any of it is because it doesn't support their narrative. It's not baseless, political BS. If it were, they would have revealed the specifics.

(5,455 posts)you know this?

(39,590 posts)I don't remember if I read it or if it was on the TV news. If it was TV news, the only station I get is CBS.
If I read it, I read it in an article linked here on DU.
TFG and his lawyers get to see the indictment as soon as it is filed. They are free to discuss any and all of it as they wish.
The DAs office is not allowed to (publicly) discuss the details of the indictment until Trump has appeared in court for arraignment.
I will look for confirmation right now, and post something as soon as I find it.

(11,763 posts)And Tacapina, who by the way is apparently being criticized by his fellow Trump lawyers according to Rolling Stone, has said they don't know what's in it.

(60,320 posts)It would make sense to honour the order by making it known to the defendant first.
However, I can't find the report on that order, so maybe I have it wrong.

(9,124 posts)and this probably was because tRump and his mob lawyers got the indictment info so it must be unsealed.
Fiendish Thingy
(22,458 posts)Trumps lawyer admitted on tv he doesnt know the charges.
If it were unsealed, it would be part of the public record and available to the press.

(60,320 posts)No new substance.
They are in trouble and they know it.
The rump shut down Merd-a-Loco events for the weekend, which is pretty strange since M-a-L can make money on automatic pilot while the rump takes counsel.
They know they are in trouble. And this is just the beginning of the end. There is more to come.

(110,217 posts)His lawyers won't see it till he's arraigned on Tuesday. That's what I heard on MSNBC and it was confirmed on CNN and in the NYT.
