NEW YORK (AP) Former President Donald Trump will deliver remarks Tuesday night in Florida after his scheduled arraignment in New York on charges related to hush money payments, his campaign announced Sunday.
Trump is set to deliver remarks at his Mar-a-Lago club after returning from Manhattan, where he is expected to voluntarily turn himself in.
Trump, a 2024 presidential candidate, is facing multiple charges of falsifying business records, including at least one felony offense, in the indictment handed down by a Manhattan grand jury last week, two people familiar with the matter have told The Associated Press. They spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss information that is not yet public.
Trumps indictment came after a grand jury probe into hush money paid during the 2016 presidential campaign to squelch allegations of an extramarital sexual encounter. The indictment itself has remained sealed, as is standard in New York before an arraignment.

I can dwell on a bit of schadenfreude, can't I?
I love vision of the orange anus hold up in his tower, dreaming of his Bedminster, New Jersey, golf course, knowing it's off limits.

We will have to see what the Judge says. For he IS the LAW in this case.

What they should do is have reporters present so they can sum up the "comments" (grifting rant) and then give a one or two minute summary in their regular news programs and move on to other news. For print media, just give him a couple lines of summary.
But I know that, instead, they will give hours and hours of bloated commentary on it. It's standard procedure for them with Trump. It's how they helped to elect him in 2016. They love the attention as much as Trump does. And they like his corporate friendly policies. They are willing to sell out democracy for their own profits.

(1,818 posts)I don't even care how many of his gullible griftees show up. However I have to admit I would love to see a long line of port-a -potties outside his KKKlub. Two or three for each attendee -so what, maybe 15 toilets in total. Unfortunately there is probably a local ordinance against it.
