(5,104 posts)If she does retire after her long and illustrious career this will be a very fitting conclusion.
Stahl has my respect.

(4,616 posts)Calling for the ousting of someone who doesn't do what YOU want them to and do not agree with. Now where was it that I hear that all the time? Oh yea, I remember now.

Yeah, it would have been cool if Stahl had kicked her out of the studio.

(7,880 posts)one conducted by Jonathan Swan one-on-one with Trump. Too bad the interview wasn't modeled after that one if there had to be an interview at all.
Whether or not the end result of the interview made 3names look good or bad, it increased her social media status in the larger picture.

(7,880 posts)I let them know I was disgusted with CBS letting her get away with the grooming and pedophile comment encouraging LGBT hate speech and allowing her a national platform to spread it. As if rolling your eyes was sufficient comment. Giving her an entire interview with very little in-depth research was the height of bad journalism.

(4,616 posts)No, she did not. Might I suggest you actually watch the interview instead of relying on others Twitter feed.

(7,086 posts)Lesley Stahl: It's rare for a member of the House of Representatives to become well-known nationally, especially someone in only their second term. But Marjorie Taylor Greene MTG is as famous as they get. She's gained her national celebrity, some say notoriety, with a sharp tongue and some pretty radical views like her proposal for a national divorce where red and blue states would go their separate ways.
But, she has managed in just two years in Congress to accumulate real power, landing on important committees, and influencing the direction of Republican policies. Before Congress, she helped run the family construction company in Georgia -- known to be smart and fearless and has a history of believing in conspiracy theories.

(40,365 posts)When our children and grandchildren are eating the bark of dying trees in an effort to survive, they will be soothed by the knowledge that their parents and grandparents focused their energy on a 60 Minutes interview.
Maybe be outraged by the fast approaching climate change and feel a little upset about the interview.

(7,880 posts)...So when media promotes them, someone needs to push back. Media is supposed to be the fourth estate -- holding the government's feet to the fire. This interview failed and is but one part of a larger problem.
We'll never get any climate change legislation passed as long as these extremists are occupying government offices.
