He is conceding the race, but...
I wish that in a circumstance like this I would be able to concede to a worthy opponent. But I do not have a worthy opponent. Former Justice Daniel Kelly delivers a fiery speech, calling WI Justice-elect Janet Protasiewicz beneath contempt and a serial liar.

(9,124 posts)During his time on the Wisconsin Supreme Court, Kelly came under fire for not recusing himself from multiple cases that involved organizations with which he had close ties. As one example, in the days immediately preceding the decision Koschkee v. Taylor, Kelly received $1,000 contributions from board members of the non-profit conservative law firm, Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty, that was representing the petitioners in Koschkee v. Taylor.[18] Kelly would ultimately join the majority opinion that ruled in favor of the Petitioners.[19]
Kelly also opposed a petition brought by over 50 retired Wisconsin judges to strengthen standards on when judges should remove themselves from cases because of a conflict of interest.[20]

Published August 23, 2019
Associated Press
MADISON Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Daniel Kelly has been ticketed for failing to stop at a stop sign after the car he was driving slammed into a van, sending two people to the hospital.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports Friday that Kelly was ticketed near his home in North Prairie, in Waukesha County, on Aug. 9.
The driver of the van, Frank Remfrey, tells the newspaper that "if it wasn't for air bags and seat belts, I think we'd be dead."
Remfrey and his passenger were both taken to the hospital. Remfrey says they are sore but otherwise OK.
Remfrey says the van was totaled. Kelly's car was towed from the scene.
