More on the deputies shooting man at wrong house?

He worked for a salvage yard that 2 other employees were murdered the same day.

I live an hour north of Farmington (in Colorado). I have no speculation as to such a weird coincidence.

It appears this city has a very high rate of violent crime.

Which would explain why the man who was murdered by police answered his door with a gun in hand.

If one fears for their safety to the point of feeling they need to have a gun in your hand, then you don't close the distance between you and possible assailants and then open the door fully exposing yourself .
