The end goal of the right is fetal personhood and the abolition of legal abortion in the U.S.

"The first footnote in the Kacsmaryk opinion staying the FDA's approval of mifepristone.

If you think the Dobbs "state-by-state" settlement is a lasting one, you're delusional. The endgoal is--and always has been--fetal personhood and the abolition of legal abortion in the U.S."

stand with the right to kill human persons if it's justified in their minds (something that might be as little as calling out for your mother as police press the life out of you).

Justifiable is a very important word that lawyers for Choice must contemplate in ways they haven't really previously done

Meanwhile, republicans do not really care about the fetus, baby, schoolchild.

It is a tool to keep their extreme base.

Gun rights are more sacrosanct than the lives of schoolchildren.

5. Funny thing is, the bible is kind of out to lunch when it comes to abortion...

Doesn't really say that much about it, except for that recipe to perform one. Typical hypocrisy.

7. I was watching a historical documentary on the Roman Catholic church

a few days ago (I LOVE documentaries, actually I much like ANYTHING other than PBS run BBC murder mystereis)

During that documentary, one of the academics (Sorry I can't tell you the name) pointed out that until about 1780 most Western governments HAD NO SEPARATION BETWEEN STATE AND RELIGION, and perhaps more importantly in historical retrospect, that order is incorrect. It seems religious sentiments came first.

Now I think what we have across the states of the FAILED Confederacy is an effort to revise the old order. PUT THE CLERGY and their oversimplistic absolutist manicheaistic intolerance back in charge. There's RIGHT (their Right) and there is wrong (everything LEFT of "RIGHT&quot

Following that path, John Roberts soon will be moving to OK the Burning of Democratic Lawmakers at the stake by Tennesee republicans

9. They won't control the whole of the "former United States".

The US is a federal republic just like the former Yugoslavia.

It will break up just like it. There are a lot of parallels.

RW’ers will be drive out of blue states and liberals will be driven out of the red ones.

So their laws aren't from the Bible, they're from their own sick religious beliefs they made up.
