My opinion FWIW- Harlan Crow WANTED the public to know about his Nazi memorabilia

He wanted us to eventually find out.

That's why he didn't actually hide those items at his home. He knew it would come out and he wanted it to.

It's a threat. He is very clearly saying: "This is what we are going to do to you people. This is how much we hate you. We will unleash this Holocaust on you again. All you liberals. All you progressives. Blacks. Gays. Trans. Uppity women who won't submit. All of you. We have the money and power and this is what we will do. Know it."

He relishes it. He feels a sense of glee and power.
