Two Pregnant Women Denied Care In Florida - One Almost Died

Proper response to Pre-term Premature Rupture Of Membranes (PROM) is not included as an exception in many abortion bans being enacted. Doctors and hospitals are sending women home to deal with such dangerous situations on their own. One FL woman lost nearly half of her blood because of the fears of medical practitioners who might be charged if they render the necessary care.

Most legislators are not trained & licensed medical care givers. They should not be legislating medical care. GOP pols' pandering policies are causing real harm to living women in the name of saving 'babies' who are not yet viable human beings. Maybe time for some class action suits for these pandering ideologues who are practicing medicine (without liscense) via restrictions they are placing on the actual practice of medicine?

but diagnosing from the legislature in cases they have not examined and have no training in diagnosing. This is really arms length medical malpractice.

Just who do these pandering clowns think they are? And did ANY of them ever take a civics course? The ones who actually know better are the worst of the lot.

Years ago, when some pharmacists got a pass for imposing their personal opinions on women trying to fill legal prescriptions for birth control medication (often used to treat other medical issues), it was clear things were heading in the direction of a minority of zealots ultimately making women vassals of a theocracy.

I weep for my country. Is it lost? I am old and may not see the day when freedom and respect for women is restored.

Right to healthcare. Right to not die a horrible preventable death.

Our pets get better care than women.

It’s to the point in many red states now that women are forbidden from receiving the normal standard of healthcare and we call ourselves America??

I can’t wait to see a class action lawsuit against these evil state legislatures for depraved indifference to human life!
