1. even if the President issues a proclamation

or something.

Would Doctors prescribe it and run the risk of red state jail terms?

Would the maker of the drug risk the lawsuits and arrests of officers of the company?

We need to find a way to short circuit the court system, the last bastion of right wing thuggery in the US.

BTW, the national repuke party will be begging the Supremes to overturn this decision. Otherwise they will experience a election wipe out that will be the end of repuke national power for a generation.

5. He has a choice. He can ignore the Courts.

Andrew Jackson did it. When the Courts usurp their power and no longer have legitimacy, the right thing to do is ignore them. They have no power to enforce their own rulings.

That's why we lost the House. Blue states ungerrymandered, while red states got to keep their horrible gerrymanders.

The Supreme Court has already proven itself illegitimate with its corrupt appointments and judges.

It has the lowest approval in modern history. It's not a valid institution anymore.

8. Will you say that if the SCOTUS declares foetal personhood? That would instantly ban almost all

abortion nationwide.

Zero chance every Blue state submits to the RW whiphand of the Court in that (and other matters) horrific occurrence.

4. So what will he do if Blue states ignore SCOTUS if they, for instance keep allowing abortions

IF the SCOTUS someday decides to grant foetal personhood (which would outlaw almost all abortions nationwide)?

If Biden sent in feds to try and stop CA (by force), for instance, he would not only likely destroy the Dem party but would kick off massive secession movements and kinetic violence.

I simply have to believe he would never be that foolish. He far is too intelligent and experienced.

Trump, on the other hand, is fucking unhinged and would leap at the chance I fear. He MUST never be allowed near the POTUS again.

We are in such perilous times.

Michigan IS going to ignore the SCOTUS if there are-abortion rulings. So will other legal states.

Just the same way we ignore Federal MJ law.

Essentially, he has to say these things but his actions (such as enforcing it) are entirely different.

7. As I understand two federal zones with conflicting rules

In the TX zone -- with this ruling. Obey it until teh USSC rules one way or the other.

In the other zone -- obey that it is OK until the USSC rules.

I think that is what he is supposed to do as the executive.

I don't like it, but it seems to be threading the needle without federal overreach from the excutive branch.

They have pledged to use DoJ to fight the TX ruling.

I think Biden got it right.
