It's not the GOP elected officials' fault...

...it's the fault of the voters who put them there.

The Republicans that are elected didn't inherit their jobs, they were elected, or appointed by people who were elected. The Republicans elected or appointed, at least 90% of them, are not hiding their feelings. On guns, on women's rights, on civil rights, on gay rights, on climate change or on all the issues that are putting our lives and freedom at risk.

I know about gerrymandering, the Electoral College and voter suppression. I know that Republican Senators represent 42% of our population but 49% of the Senate. I agree that the political field puts us at a disadvantage.

My point is, even with all that being true, the voters put them there. And the elected officials put the judges there.
Even if 40% of the voters vote against their own best interest (and ours). Until a vast majority of Americans wake up, we will continue to have these same problems over and over again.

Too many of our fellow Americans are morons, racists and assholes.

The Republican party displays a profound shortage of both.

2. I blame the Independents

Many people have left the GOP to claim the role of Independent but yet they continue to vote for whatever candidate comes out of the primary process.

But the only people left in the GOP are radicals so the candidates keep getting worse.

If you vote for the party's candidate, then belong to the party so that you can participate in picking the person.

If not, you are part of the problem.

Don't get me wrong, I don't blame them for being embarrassed to be GOP but own it if you are.

I think it's important to remember that these fucksticks didn't just trip, hit their head and accidentally fall into public office.

Our neighbors, family members, co-workers and "friends", walked into a polling booth and pulled the lever for them. They opened a mail in ballot, sat down at their kitchen table, took out a pen or pencil, marked in favor of these asspickles, put that ballot in an envelope, licked the glue strip, sealed that envelope and put it in the mail.

Businesses where we spend our hard-earned money, fund, enable and support them.

Radio stations and media outlets, in every nook and cranny of this county, support and promote them.

We are in a no-shit, all-hands-on-deck, pitched battle for our very souls.

If we truly love our country, our families and our way of life, we must remember...

Nothing will change! The racism, fascism, misogyny, hatred and white supremacy...NONE OF IT...will change, unless and until we make racism, fascism, misogyny, hatred and white supremacy unprofitable to the corporations, businesses and individuals that fund and enable it.

they get in the voting both, identity controls their choices. They can't bring themselves to vote for their perceived enemy.

That propaganda machine controls the shallow thinker, on both sides.

9. People who choose tp get their information...

...from Propaganda, when information is feely and widely available from other sources, have no excuse. They are assholes by choice.

People in North Korea, China, Russia and other closed societies have an excuse.

No American can blame "propaganda". They are not forced to watch FOX or News Max, they choose to. They could easily get accuate information if they wanted to. They are racist and choose to reinforce they're bigotries with sources that feed it.

No excuse. Not in this country.

8. You can't ignore the gerrymandering.....
Tue Apr 11, 2023, 09:48 AM

It is real and hogties the Democrats. People voted to fix the gerrymandering, the R’s refused to comply with the result. They refused to comply with the State Supreme Court who mandated that fair committees and maps be created. Our state has failed to act for so long that our 2024 election will in fact be held under the gerrymandered map again. This has been going on for at least 10 years! So….no the people didn’t put Gym Jordan in office….some premium select a$$h&$# got to decide for all of us but the majority of the people in the state voted to correct the gerrymandering!!

10. Gerrymandering not only effects the US House
Thu Apr 13, 2023, 07:03 AM

It is responsible for the mess state legislatures are in. It is why we can have guns in every pocket and continual threat to our women’s health and body autonomy! It has been since never that my vote could bring a democrat into the statehouse! This article may help others understand.

“Of course, Republicans made sure there are many more districts that skew Republican than skew Democratic. So, of the Ohio House’s 99 seats, Republicans hold 67, Democrats 32.

That is, Republicans hold two-thirds of the Ohio House seats — and 79% of the state Senate’s seats — in a state that cast 53% of its presidential votes for Donald Trump in 2020.”
