(3,178 posts)It may be coming to a point where Biden may need some real fortitude to say enough and let the courts enforce certain things. I cant see how he could let a clearly unconstitutional breach like a court ordered federal ban on an approved drug stand. Hopefully smarter people than me are making contingencies because Ill be fucked if Id know what to do. Yeesh what a fuckin nightmare.

(319,067 posts)to Ignore it as not being Lawful. Imagine that.. a Con judge not following the Rule of Law.
I think Pres Biden has the Fortitude to do what's necessary.

(3,178 posts)But he's being forced into some real pickles by these cretins, I'm grateful we've got a brilliant statesman at the helm, but I feel for him, the weight of the world on his shoulders, you know it's not easy for him.

(319,067 posts)Brilliant Statesman and truly amazing how he can juggle so many issues & crises at once.
And, all for the betterment of our country and planet.. all the while having Forces of Pure Evil trying to take him down.
It obviously Helps that he has the advantage of all those years of Experience in the Senate & in the Obama WH.. and now as President.

(1,983 posts)This case had nothing to do with that particular district in Texas. They filed it there, knowing this judge was the only one there and so they could get it in front of him. The same thing happened with getting Cannon in the Trump documents case, though at least she's in Florida.
For cases like this, maybe they can randomly give it to any federal judge in the country.

(23,336 posts)Foreign vulture funds are probably the most egregious abusers of the forum shopping scam - filing sham lawsuits not in their tax haven domiciles; but in Lower Manhattan, where they know that their victims' bondholders could be easily held hostage.
And they can usually find some Repug appointee willing to play ball (for a price, probably).
