For years MSNBC greatest Legal Guests have and still are asked to advise Trumps legal defense teams.
Again today! Its getting too serious to be helping!
A man and minions lied about the 2020 election. Then plotted an attack on democracy & the US Capitol
Ari, a lawyer, asked Andrew Weissman and Defense Lawyer Danny Greenberg for Individual 1s best defense strategy.
Andrew warned of the false statements trap. Perjury is a crime.
Then Ari asked Danny Greenberg
What are a lawyers best defenses for someone in this position to offer?
Danny. So first Id advise defense team to get another client
Then Brief the client. And on and on with defense strategies 😡
Ive seen this same scenario play out so many times on MSNBC
And MSNBC repeatedly aDMs its Legal Geniuses to advise the legal defense teams.
WTH MSNBC! Knock it off!

(115,862 posts)from cable tv lawyers, or actually takes it? If you'd ever read any of their pleadings you'd know they weren't getting any legal defenses from anywhere but TFG's colon. He doesn't hire the best people; he hires lawyers who are either true believers (in which case they are especially stupid), or who think they are smart enough to use their representation of TFG to become famous. This is also stupid, because if they do what their client wants they risk making huge fools of themselves and losing their licenses. Don't worry that they are getting ideas from defense strategies being discussed on TV. Even assuming they're watching, they obviously have never taken any of that advice.

(115,862 posts)might have won a few cases, but they always lose! Why do you suppose that is? It's because as lawyers they suck hard enough to bend light and they are not taking advice from anyone who actually knows what they are doing. What the lawyers on TV are doing is educating the public about how the law works - which, based on a lot of what I read here - is desperately needed. But they sure as hell aren't helping TFG's idiots. You said "WE are the party of education," but you seem to be rejecting the education about the law that is being offered. Trump's lawyers aren't getting their legal research from watching TV, but we can benefit from it.
