10. Kicktoons. What I've been saying ever since "school choice" came up decades ago...

The money for public schools was sucked away, leaving them them the place of last resort for the poorest families, and the most marginal kids — instead of what they were when I grew up, the broad intersection where nearly every kid in town met and learned, where the majority of adults understood public education was for the common good.
