I read an article recently where Trump had some sort of meeting with RWNJs and said that Republicans were getting killed on abortion.

However, Trump is the entire reason DeSantis and the Florida Leg can feel confident in passing the initial 15-week ban, and now the 6-week ban. The Florida Constitution protected abortion rights, but Trump gave DeSantis the momentum to plow right through that. Trump's judges took away the protection in the federal constitution. Trump's judges are threatening access to medication abortions, with one of them completely halting mifepristone, and 2 Trump judges on the 5th Circuit allowing it to be available but restricted while greenlighting much of the bullshit from the first Trump judge.

DeSantis' name may be on one 6-week ban, but Trump's name is on every single ban that exists in this country right now and in the future.

I'm just ranting and all of this would probably go over Trump supporters' heads (for the few that do favor legalized abortion).
