"SNIP.......

Top Republican donor Thomas Peterffy told the Financial Times that he is halting plans to help finance the presidential bid of Gov. Ron DeSantis due to his extreme positions on social issues.

Said Peterffy: “I have put myself on hold. Because of his stance on abortion and book banning?.?.?.?myself, and a bunch of friends, are holding our powder dry.”

I mean, that's been TD's whole schtick all along. He might as well wear a blinking "I'm A Fascist Dictator" neon sign

what finally made him drop the white, go-go booted, anti-wokester.

Can't much blame him as the repub party's anti-womens' rights stances are going lose them tons and tons of votes.

Nice try. This MFer claims to be dropping his support because he's discovered that DeSatan is a fascist?

More likely is that the donor saw some internal polling that indicates DeS is not doing so well.

These MFers would back a goat if the dumbass GQPee voters would follow it.

that a little Hitler who wants to intrude his chuch into women's bodies and libraries doesn't have anything to do with small government, he wants to expand the government to an extent evil old FDR never dreamed of.

In fact, if red state Democrats are smart, that's one of the ways they'll campaign. Big government, social warrior GOPs are big fat targets.

gives to Republicans. Hope he can talk a few more than "a bunch" of his other FL billionaire friends into withdrawing funds from DesGusting.

Whoever he puts his money on, it's no virtue to publicly declare he's no longer donating to someone who's evil. It's just a business decision, because he knows DesGusting doesn't have a rat's ass chance of winning.

DeSantis MO is to punish and silence anyone who disagrees with him. Sure, he can do that in Florida for the most part, rest of the country, not so much. He's shown to have thin skin and reacts too much, you have to be able to take the hard punches and he's shown he can't.
