So Deathsatan, mad, because Disney outsmarted him

has threatened to build a competing theme park next door.

Okaaaay. How about MAGALAND.

Where your entry fee is only valid after you throw a book into a fire, the main food is pudding you eat with your fingers, and the mascot is a big ball of Corona Virus named Fever.

2. Reedy Creek is in effect a municipal utility district and does not own the land at WDW

A subsidiary of Disney owns the land and Reedy Creek exists to provide utilities to the development on the land. DeathSantis is pissed because Reedy Creek entered into a development agreement with owner of the land where the owner of the land put into place a long term development plan including a new major theme park and two minor parks. These development agreements are customary for major developments and were properly adopted by Reedy Creek and Disney after two public hearings that were noticed in the local paper in accordance with local law.

Reedy Creek cannot use the land for a prison without condemning such land and paying Disney the fair market value for such land. At prison built on this condemned land would be very very expensive.

DeathSantis is mad at WDW because he may be too short to ride some rides without his high heels

7. Unless he manages to find a way to put it on Disney property, there is literally no room around it

and you can bet Orange County and its residents will fight like mad any zoning changes that would hurt property values in the area. The average home price in the area is north of $400k now

The only place would be south, in Osceola County and be akin to the Margaritaville resort and I don't think anybody would really give a shit

It wouldn't be much more than another Fun Spot (two locations, one near Universal and one in Kissimmee - southeast of Disney property)

Legoland is further away; Universal's third park is already underway and it's closer to all the I-Drive stuff. Busch Gardens is in Tampa along with their water park and SeaWorld/Aquatica are pretty hemmed in by development and SeaWorld likely doesn't have the capital and willpower to open and sustain a third park
