A key figure in the pro-Trump “Stop the Steal” campaign has apologized after being accused of asking teenage boys for sexual pictures.

Ali Alexander has become one of the most ubiquitous figures in the MAGA movement. Trump himself reportedly requested that Alexander speak at his rally before the riot, with his appearance only quashed by a last-minute intervention from Trump’s aides. But this week, Alexander stands at the center of a scandal that raises questions about how powerful men in the far-right treat their younger acolytes.

“This is so gay,” Alexander said in a statement issued Friday night that addressed the allegations in broad terms.

Alexander, who has described himself as bisexual in the past, added that he was “battling with same-sex attraction.”

And that Alexander was aware the person was only 15?

Was he commonly targeting kids that young, or is this an outlier, and they were typically 16 or older?

Were there coercive conditions? Was he their HS teacher promising better grades, or was he their Reverend, offering salvation in exchange for dick pics?

I like to understand these kinds of details before concluding just HOW horrible of a thing this person has done.

Regardless of whether I hate the person, which I definitely do in his case.

Obviously this is shitty, but I want to know just HOW shitty.

Evidence that he was trying to arrange meetups with a 15 yo would really give me serious ammo when arguing with the next wingnut, is where I'm actually going with this.

Not to take away from the serious and totally hypocritical nature of what transpired, but I receive ads on my screen right above where the OP starts. When I clicked over to this discussion, THIS is one of the ads that appeared.

I'm wondering, does the AI or whatever involved in displaying ads look at the content of this page and decide this might be of interest to me?

might get the same ad, or perhaps it was the word 'sexual' and a few others that might have prompted this. What a world we live in!

11. I don't think they would put the words rooster or chicken in the meta

key words list for this ad. That is not the people they are trying to sell to. Plus when an ad goes up I think the seller has to pay up. So they would not want a huge bunch of mostly cooks or people looking for recipes seeing an ad that the cooks will then ignore. That is throwing money away. How I understand it anyhow.
