Disney outsmarted DeSantis again. The plan they passed to keep control of Disney World was comprehensively reviewed and approved by his own State Land Planning Agency last year.

Another #Disney surprise? The disputed development agreement targeted by #DeSantis, others based on a comprehensive plan reviewed and approved by the state last year, Disney says

(8,103 posts)TY for posting this. I LOVE Disney music! I remember this from my childhood, and all my frickin life I have remembered these lyrics! When I'm sitting in some nursing home, when I'm 100 years old, I'll be singing these songs, and driving my handlers insane!
I'm rooting for Disney, and I hope DeSantis is run out of office by the Mouse!

(41,632 posts)... why did they sit back and let DeSantis win the election last year? They could have been rid of that a-hole for GOOD. Charlie Crist wasn't that far from winning the governorship, and he would have been a delight by comparison.

(4,741 posts)The Mouse won't be shutting down anything. They have too much invested in Florida to leave, they have nowhere else to go for a new US park, and they're a typical corporation in loving money and power too much to shut it down.
Above all else, DuhSatan can keep playing these stupid games, but the Mouse knows that their side has better lawyers. They will always dance circles around him and make him look like a fool. Only DuhSatan is too stupid to ignore what's staring him in his ugly pudgy face.
All of you talking about shutting down the park or moving it--stop. It will not happen. Get used to that idea. It's called reality, and it's better to face it than to keep puling for nonsense that will never happen.
