When Sinclair's 500+ RWing radio stations across the entire nation put out a 100 Song DO NOT PLAY list? This song was on that list, along with all the other anti Vietnam war classics........I am sure Cheney/Rumsfeld were behind that move........

Sorry, I got some of it wrong...... it was Clear Channel, and it was 1200 radio stations. It was, as I remember, not merely a suggestion for radio stations.......The list included most of the Anti-Vietnam War protest songs.......

"After the 9/11 attacks, Clear Channel Communications distributed a suggested song ban list for its 1,200 radio stations. Included on the list are "Imagine" by John Lennon and all of Rage Against the Machine's songs". Wikipedia.........

While this was the Journalist one when she played the sheriff & co. possibly planning murder... I gulped and got teary-eyed.

I already just commented on the the black teen shoot by the old white guy on other threads.

That was quite a program tonight. More Black Mom’s grieving and scared mean old white men with guns. What a disaster! The conversation with the county government and sheriff really exposed some Evil stuff. These attitudes are hurting our country and holding us back. I hope the journalist and his family are long gone now from Oklahoma!

LOL. Because you should never admit that here. You will get told you are a naive fool for expressing shock.

But since you admitted it, I will concur that I, too, was shocked. Absolutely riveting, listening to these idiots talk about hanging black people and plotting to murder the press.

Just absolutely mind boggling.

If any of you missed Rachel tonight, please check to see if Rhiannon posts excerpts. It is a must-see.

as a species, it certainly seems we are regressing, not moving forward.

We have some smart individuals, but for whatever reason, we are collectively stupid.

I don't know how he could be so level headed under the circumstances.

Another riveting part of the program.

believe the county officials including the sheriff are not all in jail. The FBI is in on it now, so maybe today they will be arrested.

Reporter for local newspaper secretly recorded a secret meeting of county officials discussing hiring a hitman to take out two newspaper reporters and burying them.
