It's a simple, straightforward "solution", which they can easily imagine will have the desired effect of eliminating the need to see or interact (ever) with anyone who is homeless. His main selling point is their removal. So, it does not take much of an imagination for the plan to be "attractive".

After all, why actually solve a problem when you can suggest a mind-numbingly simple "solution" that can possibly benefit one's "friends"? "Build a wall!"

Someone has to buy land in the middle of nowhere. Someone has to build the tent cities. Someone has to cater the food. Someone has to provide sanitation. There is a lot of room for no-bid contracts being issued Jared or the ilk that Trump runs with.

This will even be dual purpose. He can pivot later and claim that this could be used to house "the illegals";i.e., more money, more contracts, and more grift.

This is Trump trying out "Build a Wall!" version 2.0 . Is it enough to get him re-elected, though? I don't know. Maybe, but that depends on Fox News and how much they demonize homeless people and immigrants in the next two years. They have immigrants covered.

If Trump's rhetoric continues in this vein, it probably means that he is getting a positive response from his crowds and base, a response large enough that he wants to amplify the message. Time will tell.

I just saw a tweet from a children's hospital that they would no longer require masking. At a hospital! Where very ill children have to get treatment. This is a culling at this point. Anyone old, weak, sick, immune compromised is marked for death. No one speaks up for them anymore.
