But maybe it's because I'm used to that accent. My mom was born and raised in Chattanooga, TN, just across the state line from Marge's north Georgia district, and she (and most of my extended family on her side) had pretty much the same exact accent. Hell, I had that accent for the first 12 years of my life! (Then my family moved to Illinois, and I lost the accent as fast as I could, because 6th graders are bastards. )
