Elon Musk and Tucker Carlson discussed the urge to have sex, with Musk claiming 'birth control and abortions' could cause civilization to collapse

Billionaire Elon Musk aired his controversial ideas on population decline and reproduction in the second of a series of meandering interviews with Fox News' Tucker Carlson that aired Tuesday.

During the discussion, Musk claimed that the human urge to procreate had been "subverted," leading to population decline.

Carlson then asked the Tesla and SpaceX billionaire to expand on the idea.

"I'm sort of worried that hey, civilization, if we don't make enough people to at least sustain our numbers, perhaps increase a little bit, then civilization's going to crumble," Musk added.

We actually don't need as many people to "sustain Civilization" as we did in 1980, because of a little thing called technology. Now, we need to improve technology to assist people as they age, but for now, immigration can easily make up for the difference, as the emerging countries still have more than sustainable birthrates and would happily provide people to be trained and take their families to countries that need people to do the caretaking and other critical jobs.

All this being said, we do have a bad problem across the world with worker exploitation. Until we fix that, the rights and dignity of people who want to immigrate to get better or more diverse jobs is going be a shameful reflection of our society.
