(55,082 posts)Talking about the altered classified document with Ukraine/Russian casualty numbers as if they were true. Definitely not supportive of Ukraine.

(18,613 posts)But I believe Gen. Milley who said that Ukraine and Russia have both suffered over 100k casualties... Russia, well over.
I don't take Ukrainian estimates seriously. They're obviously manufactured for public consumption.

(426 posts)..has been bombarded for over a year now, even if it were true, it would probably be more of a reflection of that than anything else.
Nevilledog
(55,082 posts)They're pushing the lie that Ukraine is losing so we shouldn't give them more support. It's Russian propaganda.
ahimsa
(426 posts)I agree absolutely. I'm just saying that it should not be a surprise if the country getting bombarded had more casualties than the one not getting bombarded.

You can't be a caring compassionate person and support Russia's War Crimes over Ukraine.

(53,061 posts)In 2021 as people were starting to get out and go to parties she had a Christmas Party. In the invitation it said only those with vaccines would be allowed in, vaccine records would be checked at the door.

I remember Bobby Kennedy. Bobby Kennedy was a hero of mine, and you, sir, are NO Bobby Kennedy.
His anti-vaxx bombast is deplorable. The way he LIES about the facts and creates number and statics out of thin air is reprehensible. But what pushed me over the edge were his savage, vicious, personal attacks on Anthony Fauci.

(16,448 posts)..."Kennedy has a condition called spasmodic dysphonia, a specific form of an involuntary movement disorder called dystonia that affects only the voice box.
...
People with spasmodic dysphonia in the media, such as Kennedy or National Public Radio talk show host Diane Rhem, have helped bring spasmodic dysphonia to national attention. Kennedy and Rhem both serve as honorary board members of NSDA, and Rhem wrote about her experience in her 2002 book, "Finding My Voice."
...
The best guess spasmodic dysphonia experts have for now is that root of the neurological disorder lies in the basal ganglia. The basal ganglia is often called the "processing area" of the brain and it sits between the cortex -- the "upper management" part of the brain as Song calls it -- and the brain stem, or the "foot soldier" of the brain.
However, the most advanced research is still focused on finding physical evidence of changes in the brain, and possibly a genetic cause behind the disorder. For now, most spasmodic dysphonia patients work with the cycle of low-dose Botox treatments three times a year that leave their voices first as breathy, then normal then stilted again."... (more)
Haggis 4 Breakfast
(1,505 posts)I had never heard of this malady before, but I do remember that Rose Kennedy had something similar. It seemed to appear as she aged. Perhaps it is genetic, after all.
