20% rule applies here as well.

If you extrapolate, while the 20% rule is here, that 20% is head and shoulders over most places.

Dunning Kruger allows for overconfidence too.

Evolution allows for intrusion. It rejects when it can, but adapts when it doesn't. Or the tombstone prevails.

Wisdom rules here. Everyone becomes wiser here.

7. "I think we (democrats) are more susceptible to being easily divided than our adversaries are."

Not divided – rather, not subject to groupthink and blind partisanism.

Democrats/liberals/progressives aren’t ideologues, we don’t adhere mindlessly to sanctioned political doctrine and dogma, as is the case with Republicans/conservatives/reactionaries.

Indeed, there’s no such thing as a ‘DINO.’

What is our greatest strength, however, can also be a weakness – as pragmatists Democrats can have differences of opinion and perception which can lead to division and dissent.

The task is to respect those differences while defending the rights and protected liberties of the people, defending against government excess and overreach, and defending democracy from the neo-fascist, illiberal right.

But I think you're wrong in that people don't label democrats as DINOs. Perhaps not with that term, but literally every day Manchin is pilloried on this board.

It's not unlike the Republicans who still complain about McCain being a RINO when he most definitely was not. Manchin is definitely a Democrat. He's just a moderate one.

Finally got up the gumption to do an actual post. And, wouldn't ya know, I get called a TROLL. I was aghast. I understand how you are seeing things here and it can't be stopped. I try to insert my honest, super liberal comments here and there and I have been slapped on the hand quite a few times. Maybe I had it coming. I am still here and will remain so. These are a bunch of really lovely people after my own heart. Enjoy the ride.
