MAGA Pastor Says Christians Must Be The Ones Writing the Laws

The MAGA preacher Sean Feucht made an unsettling guest appearance in the Tulsa, Oklahoma church of Jackson Lahmeyer, founder of Pastors for Trump, the leading group of evangelicals supporting the former presidents reelection bid.
Standing on stage at Sheridan.Church on Wednesday, Feucht made a direct call for Christian nationalism declaring that America should be governed according to biblical law for the benefit of believers, as a way to prepare for the second coming of Christ.
Its all part of The King coming back, Feucht told the audience. Thats what were practicing for, he insisted, before adding, Thats why we get called Christian nationalists.'
Feucht then presented an imaginary dialog, in which he mockingly imitated the voice of secular critics: You want The Kingdom to be the government, he said, before thundering a reply in his own voice: Yes!
You want God to come on over and take over the government, he said, responding, again: Yes!

( But playing barefoot around electrical equipment is probably a good way for you to meet Jesus sooner rather than later... )

You know they don't believe that crap but use it to further themselves before they end up on the other end of it.

That includes you, Ayatollah Feucht. (Appropriate name, by the way--it means "[all] wet" in German).
As for You want God to come on over and take over the government, that reminds me of the famous Göbbels speech. Even if you don't understand German, just watch the few seconds starting at 1:40 through 1:45--"Wollt Ihr den totalen Krieg?" The narrative explains that to rally up the faithful, speeches like this one were organized for the faithful. Göbbels, at 1:16, asks rhetorically, "Do you want all out war?" The audience jumps to its feet yelling that it does. Göbbels, no idiot, remarked afterward that they would have done anything he wanted them to, even jump off the roof of the building.
