Man pulls out gun during argument with store-clerk "to reassure him that I'm not a robber".

https://www.thedailybeast.com/man-holds-store-worker-at-gunpoint-in-tantrum-over-steak-police-say?ref=home

Employees at a Price Cutter store called police to report a robbery, saying a man was holding a gun at an employee and demanding to be served meat. “Once he held the gun to my throat—pushed it into my throat—I decided to comply,” the unnamed employee told cops. Gay offered a drastically different version, however, saying he’d only shown his gun to the “good man” at the closed meat counter “to say I’m not stealing. I need you here to help me to get a couple of these steaks. I’m not going to hurt you,” according to the report. He told investigators he had “no idea” why employees thought he was threatening them.

You never know about the rogue grocery workers. He might have thrown a meatball at the guy.

...he was threatening them? Really?
This guy is either a reflex liar or a complete idiot.
The whole idea of brandishing a gun is to imply deadly force.
Who wouldn't feel threatened?

take guns with them to go shopping: to show the employees that they are not robbers! Of course; makes perfect sense…

Logically, the gun wins every argument giving the brandish-er the EGO boost of being brilliant.
A concealed gun is an unused gun.
An unused gun is an unneeded gun.
An unneeded gun is a negation of the gun.

Don't be a tool, be the user who negates the tool.
