my advice to brandon johnson this morning-

i know we all hate twitter, but the chi election was quite the topic and i was there 4 it. picked up a few local followers. it was so great to see every vallas tweet treated to the digital equivalent of rotten fruit and shaving cream pies.

i have an old friend whose visits always lead to- if i had a magic wand.
so i figured maybe this was a good time to wave the closet thing i have. a tweet.

can an old lady give u a bit of advice? u want to fix chi? add a box on the school health forms for head injuries. get treatment for any kid who has had his bell rung.
test every kid for lead. get srs about lead. rn, all u have to do to sell a property here
is sign a form saying ‘yeah, lead it a thing’.
make testing mandatory. same w leases.
then fix it if the owner cant. and replace the damn water pipes.
this will cut crime and so many other things.
start w the children. u have a better world in a generation. when gloria steinem’s army of grey haired women arrives, i’ll be there.
