(21,650 posts)France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden, the UK, Argentina - and of course the US.
All are having burgeoning far-right/neo-fascist movements - and when you scratch the surface, most of the lemmings backing them (especially the older ones) have that very same grievance:
"When I was young, almost everyone was white - and the few minorities you did see, knew their place."
"Now, thy have more rights than we do!"
And of course, all have big money behind them.

They incite stochastic terrorism that targets kids, gays, blacks, Asians, Jews
almost in whackamole fashion.
Each attack creates valid grievances from SEPARATE groups.
If only people could understand we are all being attacked.
One day they will.

(21,650 posts)But in most of countries with this same neo-fascist problem, that's the one common denominator.
You certainly see it among California Republicans, I can tell you.
"I remember when you'd walk around, and almost everyone was white - and I want whoever will bring that back for me."
"And I mean whoever, dammit!"
As always though, behind it all is Big Business - who just see it as the easiest way to install puppet/lapdog governments.
Lapdogs for them - but vicious rottweilers for the rest of us.

(13,124 posts)of the grievances and the conflicting outrage they purposely create in different groups is what I see.
From banning mefistoprone, to killing people who ring doorbells, to outlawing abortion, banning books and education, advocating child marriage, to stoking hate crimes, Republicans create endless injuries.
The problem is the more harm, the more people nurse their injuries, the worse it gets.

If white males think they have it so bad, why don't they try being a female, POC or LGBT in the US right now.
