We do sometimes since my sister died a year ago. I’m lonely and have no car so I rely on him to go places and do things. We both believe differently about trump, he only watches fox. In the middle of breakfast I said, please don’t vote for trump.he said Biden will be too old, 82. I answered at least he’s intelligent and he guffawed like Biden was stupid and senile.
I answered that trump was evil. He got really mad at me and said don’t call trump evil. His vibe was scary. I rushed out the door. We stopped so I could get some cigarettes at the tobacco store. There were several people inside so on a whim I blurted, are you trump people? Hell no they answered loudly. I felt better going home. Maybe I went too far but this is how I really feel about trump.

We had to put up with Trump even though we know he was not legitimately elected through free and fair elections. He didn't do any work as POTUS at all--save some photo ops throwing paper towels and pretending to be working in front of stacks of blank paper.

5. If you need friendly help--

consider joining a church, preferably a more liberal one like the Presbyterians or Quakers. (they won't make you swear you believe. They often provide help for people who need rides and such. I am not a believer, but I like church music and the people are often very kind, and there's a "stewardship committee" that sets up aid for people attending the church.
It might be good to have an option other than Trumpy bil!

mine a couple of years ago, as well as 3 other members of my family, due to a various mix (old age, disease, drinking), but still have one precious sister left.

I don't anymore since after the second impeachment I will argue any politics with anyone at work. There is one know it all that we get into it for so long and hard that my other coworkers beg for us to stop. Since the second impeachment. I have found out that the right wingers don't get the full story and don't even know what the real news is.
I got a t-shirt from kirschners site that says Justice matters on it. I wore it when the hearings were going on. I stood up and announced that when I wear this shirt that it means that something big is happening. I wore it when he was arrested. They did not even know why and/or if it was serious. But they know all about Hunter's laptop and ALWAYS try and say it's an equivalent crime.
I think in a lot of ways being liberal has meant to be more accepting of things, which has allowed us to be trampled on. Not anymore for me.
Oh and I feel for you and your BIL. I have lost my sister. But I got tired of listening and being all accepting of her viewpoint. She is a mild bible thumper. Now the table is turned. if she doesn't want to talk politics don't bring it up or even defend the right wing viewpoint.
