It is clear now that I would not have anything to do with a business with "Liberty", "Freedom", or "Patriot" in the name. Those words did not use to mean the opposite, but now they do. I suspect there are other words they have corrupted, but these come to mind.

(115,921 posts)unless it's a business that obviously has something to do with families, like a day-care center or a kid-themed restaurant. Otherwise it has that phony Christian patriot vibe. I would definitely not do business with, say, "Patriot Family Plumbing & Heating." Liberty Mutual Insurance has been around for a long time so AFAIK it's just another insurance company.
