Gen Z is sounding pretty engaged, and all outta fuks...

I’m trying to keep my hopes in check, but it’s looking like
the kids are gonna be pretty, pretty, motivated,
come this next election cycle.

Whoa. 72% of young people say they are *ALREADY* registered to vote for the 2024 election, according to a new poll. Gen Z isn’t waiting around for anyone. Gen Z is registering to vote. And, in 2024, Gen Z will turn out in droves. Young people will save democracy in 2024.

Ha, ha, stupid repubs. You "woke" an entire generation. I wouldn't be surprised to see a 60s style revolution! Maybe even the 60s on steroids!

The GOPers are scrambling to raise barriers to their voting access,
and remove from their education any “nonsense” like history and cultural awareness.

Too little too late me thinks, you vile blood suckers !

All the school shootings is like Gen Z’s “Kent State.”

They bring the passion of the anti-war activists of the 60’s with the savvy of a generation with all the information of the world at their fingertips.

I was thinking that yesterday. For years I did not engage in politics, until Bush invaded Iraq. I have been paying attention and voting in every election ever since. These young people will do the same.

Because they know that enthusiasm in the youth vote will not go their way. Lots of strategizing already about how to impede the youth vote--stricter, more contentious forms of ID; limiting polling stations; raising the voting age (LOL).

Yeah, the GOP knows what we know: the young are just not into the Republican spin on things and they're getting weary and enraged over being sacrificial lambs for the gun lobby and 2nd Amendment absolutionists. Kick in abortion, diversity, climate change and . . . I think it's safe to say Republicans are on the wrong side of everything including a sustainable future.

This will not end well for the GOP.
