so msnbc must think this merits a special show tonight. Not a fan of Scarborough so I'm not sure I'm going to watch it.

was done on April 21st, before today's announcement. Am guessing they figured it was as good a time as any to do it assuming it would be a "slow news week" (after last week's double-header of the "$787 million settlement" (4/18/23) and the SCOTUS mifepristone ruling (4/21/23)).

I know I certainly don't plan on watching Mourning Schmo. I would have preferred to see Chris Hayes gloat. I suppose they could go ahead with it and "take the high road" (since Carlson's show would normally air during that time slot).

Given that it seems to be tied to the anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement, I might break my commitment to avoiding anything Scarborough and watch it, it could be interesting after all as long as he sticks to the Agreement and doesn't go off course and do his election schtick.

OT: Good to see you, I check out LBN and see you are still doing a stellar job posting the news.

I know last fall there was some talk about some "primetime specials" - https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/evening-morning-joe-msnbc-trio-190000702.html

And good to see you too and thank you! It's been non-stop breaking news the past couple months.

I was trying to find out how long his "special" was.

I haven't been watching much TV but when big news stories break, I do turn them on.
