There's going to be questions from his defense that will be somewhat hard to answer, such as "why did you not report it to the police?", "the dressing rooms at the store are segregated M/F, correct? So why were you in the same dressing room in the first place?", and "why did you not scream, given you were in a public place, a very upscale one, where a scream would surely bring attention?"

I think her best shot is if he categorically denies the 'encounter', and then she produces his DNA. That way he's branded as a liar (unless he has some other explanation for how she got it).

Guessing when the rubber meets the road he's going to admit to having been there, but that it didn't actually go down like she describes.

Then you're basically down to he said/she said. Can be tough to win those kinds of cases. Sadly in this instance, of course.

It'll increase his 'invincible' aura, burnish his 'fighter' credentials, and most importantly further prove in the knuckle-dragger's minds that he's being targeted and falsely accused by liberals.

And it'll also lend credence to the idea (for the assholes that want to use it) that 'women DO lie about rape'. People so inclined will spin the fact that 'she lost' to mean 'she lied', for sure

So I really, really hope she wins, both for justice for her, and also because it's really not going to be good thing if she does not, in the societal sense.
