and it has to do with his voice volume..
I am 12 years younger than the President, but both Mr. Peacetrain and I have noticed that as we age our voices are getting softer and softer.. we have less volume..
For some reason, people respond to loud ,bellicose, people more than they do to soft spoken people.. It drives me crazy..because people do it to me all the time..
It is a degree of ageism.. but given the choice of a soft spoken person.. moving a little slower, to a loud mouth, Q Anon embracing wombat (which includes most Magas) people will choose the soft spoken person.. people even say it in the polls.. they may want a louder person, but will vote (80% Democrats) for President Joe Biden over the other side..
Glad you are in again Joe.. you have done a good job and we will be supporting you for another 4 years..

If it is a right winger, especially one who is spreading lies (see anything with Lindsey Graham of late), then they are the one who try to shout down the interviewer.
Speak softly and carry big facts. It works. There is a reason MTV's "unplugged" series of concerts was such a success.
