(43,850 posts)Now? Its conflict without real cost I guess. Its an emotional outlet. People do get very wrapped up in unhealthy ways but if you just enjoy the ability to say Theyre us and theyre good at what they do it inhabits the same emotional space often filled by far less pleasant things.
And because thats so powerful, theres a WHOLE lot of money involved.

(15,675 posts)I didn't know it was going to be that big. I was at Union Station with a friend from out of town and her family. They had some Chiefs stuff in the main lobby, but we were there to see the Maya Exhibit. They had a long hallway off the lobby closed off preparing for it.
I'm a balloon twister and have several fast football designs. I need to come up with a way to profit from this.

(456 posts)I'm a big football fan and rather watch the draft from home. I like to follow my team and who that they select.
Alternatively, I went to Chicago this year to visit friends. It happen to be a week before St. Patrick Day and the city dyed the river green. They estimated that a million of people showed up and a lot where from out of town. Why? It was cold and quite uneventful boring, but people wanted to come just to say that they went there. If I don't understand it, I can't fault really people interest.
