This happened in Sheridan Wyo

2 guys walking down the street with ASSAULT rifles. Both had a masks on. Police were called, and these two were warned they were in violation of a city ordinance. (not sure which one) My daughter works in the library and is concerned about this type of thing happening this summer in the library and other public places. Not sure how this will end. I cannot believe these incidents will be allowed in a library. Perfect place for an situation involving staff and patrons being held in a hostage situation. I'm thinking a notice needs to be put up stating NO GUNS allowed? What does everyone think? This is what we'll have in every state this summer.

They shouldn't have to work under the threat of guns!

GUNS cannot be allowed inside!! Library directors hands are tied now. Gotta wait and see what decisions are made. (just to be clear, this DID NOT happen as of yet) But gotta get ready for this problem NOW.

They had active shooter drills there last month.

It makes me furious we have to adjust to this new reality.

That guns are not allowed in the building. Even police officers who are not on duty must lock their guns either in their cars, or in our security office upon entering. Management is very strict about this policy.

If I see a gun anywhere I head the other way. It can't be good for business.
