Remedy for Republican trans bans?

1. Let parents and children decide for themselves.

2. If one day they feel like someone is to blame besides themselves for their decision, let them file a lawsuit and if there is a case for it, they should be able to prove it.

That's way more freedom than what the Republicans are trying to do about a blocking an individual choice that really is that persons and their parents' own business.

at their core.

It's also about hating liberals in general, and anything we support, they love to reject. It is their default state of being.

It's also about their religion, cause their holy book says there are only 2 sexes, not a state which is (in some sense) in between. Because of that, they can't admit being trans is a 'natural state' so they have to instead create a narrative that people are 'becoming' trans because of society/liberals/woke teaching/hormones in the water/tolerance/Satan and similar bullshit.

They did, and still do (though maybe a bit less often), the same thing with homosexuality, for many decades. All these years later you still won't find many that will admit that people are 'born gay', even though it's fucking obvious some people are

Really this is just one thing in the very, very long history of 'reality conflicting with the crap that's in their ancient and revered text', and they always, always fight/deny reality when that happens.

It's also about fearing societal change, because they're conservatives, and that's what they do.

For their leaders, it's also about rallying their troops (aka tribe) by pointing at a common 'enemy' they can all hate on. Which in turn brings donations and votes.

While I agree with the negative sentiments, one still needs to try to derail their standard defenses because we rarely get from the legislature "we just don't want trans people to exist".

They often defend their actions with claims for individual freedom and anti-government wishes. You can use that against them. This enables individual freedom and anti-government interference.

Trust your omnipotent, perfect, vengeful god to take care of his imperfect perceived sinners and leave your religious beliefs out of government.

As the Bible says: Render under Caesar that which is his….

Or as the Constitution says: No religion and everyone is equally entitled to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

3. The remedy will be repeals (unlikely) or the Courts (years down the road).

Repukes won't have a crisis of conscience and repent. They're pulling these pre-written, POS bills from some Christian Think Tank and are passing them while they have supermajority control of states they've gerrymandered since 2010. Strike while the iron is hot, and deliver for your grievance-filled, paranoid constituents.

They are freedom takers, not givers. Taking away things from people are what Republicans are all about.
