...2002 if I recall correctly, he was summoned twice to appear at a court in Texas but both times it appears (from the case records I obtained from the court) that he & his attorneys ignored it & never showed up, & the case quietly went away. The woman was found dead from an allegedly "self-inflicted" gunshot wound a year later.

And I'm not sure anyone reported on it at the time, although Newsweek mentioned it years later in an article about all the presidents who have been accused of sexual misconduct.
