Which one is more "out there" in their beliefs and theories? Which one is the most harmful to a Dem POTUS victory in 2024?

Williamson is a new age self-help guru who's into shit like crystals; Kennedy is a fanatical anti-vaxxer. Pick your poison. Kennedy would probably draw more votes from the conspiracy theorists (Steve Bannon is pushing him), while Williamson might appeal more to what remains of the disaffected Bernie Bros and the Brianna Joy Gray contingent.

According to the latest polls she is polling at 8 & 9 % - double what she polled last election but she just started. Probably because she has almost 100 Tic Toc videos & is touring colleges. These times are different because of social media. I don’t think she will win but she’s relating to the kids. Remember, almost half of America is on TicToc- 150 million Americans.

This is anecdotal of course but the only people I’ve even seen mention Kennedy are libertarians and other right wingers. No Democrat I know is even considering him.

Literally no one knows Williamson.

RFK plans to get his votes from Dems, Republicans and Independents equally. She is now touring colleges & both are on quite a few podcasts.

Latest Emerson college poll of 1,100 registered voters conducted April 24/25. Biden 70%, RFK Jr 21% and Marrianne Williamson 8%.

Biden, RFK Jr, and Marianne. There were like 210 votes so far and 68% of the people chose RFK Jr.

I was surprised with this.

I really don't know much about RFK Jr. I've heard that he's an anti-vaxxer, but I'm not sure of the complete degree of his beliefs.

Responses are from whomever self selects to respond. They might not be American or eligible to vote. The user who posts it may be followed disproportionately by people who are anti vaccines.

Also, an environmental activist in South America spending months in a Puerto Rican jail for his activism. Cleaned up lots of America’s rivers starting with the Hudson River. He’s taken on big corporations for polluting low income neighborhoods. He’s taken on government agencies.
He wants to replace of all the top people in CIA, FDA, NIAID, etc - he claims they all have ties to big corporations. He wants to end the war in Ukraine, stop the Willow Project. He’s still an active lawyer taking on Monsanto/Bayer for glyphosate cancer victims & representing 600 people in East Palestine. If you go over to Twitter you can learn a lot about him. Most on DU dislike him but having been poisoned by Malathion in the past, I’ve been happy to see him take on the cancer victims of Roundup (glyphosate) and win awards of millions for them. Now Monsanto/Bayer is offering billions to settle cases.

He believes the CIA killed JFK and speaks about it. He says his Uncle hated the CIA and let it be known - he wanted to dissolve the CIA. He speaks about the Cuban Missile crisis and how the CIA wanted JFK to put troops in Laos & Viet Nam. He basically says his uncle was anti war and he had a constant battle with CIA and the Military Industrial Complex. He has a lot to say about the history of our country.

I love Joe and he has really accomplished a lot so far - he ended the war in Afganistan, forgave student loan debt, major infrastructure bill, etc etc - but I don’t dislike RFK Jr like many on here. I really like RFK for his taking on Monsanto/Bayer and taking on corporations polluting low income neighborhoods.

They are both terrible imo. I wonder if they are going to pull any votes away.

Williamson is a complete fraud and crazy. Kennedy is just crazy prolly. But he is a willing tool of right wing fascists now it seems.

He is singularly responsible for vaccine hesitancy in a way that has actively harmed communities across the world. American Samoa has experienced measles outbreaks that have killed children... and have a direct link to his org. Children's Defense Fund.

Williamson is a hokey new agey love proponent. While I don't think she is great, she is not nearly as dangerous as RFK Jr.

What about the WT poll that had Biden at 67%, Trump at 5%, RFK at 2.5%, Williamson at 2% and DeSantis at 1%?

At this early point, why should that one be any less valid?

We know Biden will once again be far out ahead of others when things actually get serious and real, and that the 81M who voted for him last time will do so again, but that's not from current polls, which are pretty silly stuff at best, and delivery vehicles for pernicious deceits at worst.
