It's time for the US to "let" Ukraine hit targets deep in Russia

Reading the last few days of renewed Russian attacks on Ukrainian cities, killing numerous children I have had it with the restrictions. I want the US to grow a pair and let Ukraine even out the score. When their cities are hit, Russian cities are hit, it's time to bring the war home to the Russian people and maybe then they will have enough of putins dictatorship.

That's a fast track to nuclear annihilation.
Come on folks, many of us would live a bit longer.
If that was to happen Putin would be nuking the literal shit out of things.

3. They've actually done that a bit, but very selectively

And too much of that stuff will put the Russian people entirely behind the war. Right now many of them are getting iffy about the "special military action" which is really the only thing that can get Putin to curtail the slaughter.

5. I don't think we should have a say in how Ukraine reacts to Russia.

We decided to stay out. We shouldn’t get to say anything except give money and equipment. Definitely shouldn’t have a say in military tactics.

Hit the supplies and infrastructure in those areas first.

Create a RuZZian mass exodus out of them.

I don't know though that Ukraine has that much ability to strike very far or very much. Doubt we will give them long range missiles so unless Turkey or someone sells them some, not sure they will have anything but limited capacity for that. And I would worry anything they buy may not be a precision munition. If they build their own, I would be worried they would be more like older ballistic missiles like the Soviet SCUD which had about 300 mile range but was not precise....hitting within a half mile give or take of the target only makes sense if you use nuclear warheads.

12. Ukraine has already been targeting Russian supply nodes and infrastructure

The effect of the HIMARS and the GMLRS (Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System) rockets it fires has been such that Russia cannot store large amounts of materiel closer than 90km (about 55 miles) from the frontline. Russia's logistics system has historically been heavily dependent on rail movement, and having to truck supplies 50+ miles to units in the field has been a challenge for them.

The GLSDR (Ground Launched Small Diameter Bomb) that recently started being manufactured by a cooperation between Boeing and Saab will increase Ukraine's reach to 150km (about 90 miles). That's going to cause the Russian's even more headaches in their logistics.

The US provides weapons, and supplies Fine. We have no military alliance with Ukraine so any support Ukr needs from the US I’m fine with except for US military deployment to the region.

Avenging war crimes with more war crimes doesn’t make sense, but hitting military targets within Russia will make it even harder for the Russian people to accept the lies Putin is telling about this war.
