No coverage of the arrest of the Atlanta shooter. No coverage of the press conference tonight.

They covered the story all afternoon.

Surfing the other news channels I learn that Hunter Biden might be indicted tomorrow. (Fox).

4. Wow, no shooter news. I should have tuned in this evening and I mean that sincerely...

I tuned in several times throughout the day just to check, and as far as I could tell they all settled in to devote an entire hour of each newscaster’s programming bloc to Today’s Shooting News.

So by the time it got to be Deadline White House at 1 pm my time I didn’t even bother to check, even though Nicolle Wallace is must watch TV for me.

I care very much that mass killing has become America’s Pastime, but there are other things happening as well, like the all-out attempt to turn American into Gilead by squashing women’s reproductive rights, meaningful public education, and the rights of trans kids and LGBTQ people generally.

5. Nicolle Wallace came through. I am watching her on DVR right now & she & her guests are great.

She opened by giving a nod to the latest violence, and said she would let us know if there was anything new to report.

I will not doubt her again.
