It's a shame elected officials around this country

can't pass legislation to address big pharmaceutical, insurance, oil corporations massive greed. Laws to ban weapons of war killing people daily. Laws to punish criminals in government and powerful positions. They instead move at light speed to address trans athletes, gender affirming treatment, banning books, speech they don't agree with. It would be nice if they did something of substance.

This country was bought and paid for a long time ago. If you have wealth, then your an owner. It’s an exclusive club, and we aren’t in it.
Money drives our political system and laws can be passed or not passed or enforced to make sure we have almost no say in the matter.

Line their pockets better than their official pay, I guess. And I am not trying to imply that any of them deserve a raise, they already earn enough, they are just greedy. It doesn't help to have uber wealthy flaunting their wealth and coaxing the political class to work their way into the wealthy class. They are quite happy to help them gain that wealth, enough to get them into the club, that is.

Don't you want to live like us and have all this moneypower?

Greed and concentrated wealth will be the demise of our country if we don't DO something about it now and for a long time going forward.
