Has he declared? The commercial starts with him pounding the podium, selling his protect the children ideas while two couples (non-white hair) are watching from their kitchen, nodding yes. Sometime between Ron De Santis' meatball comments, it pans back to the couple who are planting a "Ron De Santis for president" sign in their front yard. And, get this, another guy hides a Trump bumper sticker by plastering a "Ron De Santis bumper sticker over it.
So, I'm guessing someone screwed up the timetable.

He hasn't announced - at least I can't find anything about an announcement online. What is happening?

(3,374 posts)A trial balloon to see if these 'unofficial' airings moved the needle on his polling data in specifically targeted districts in either direction to get a sense of a seemingly-senseless electorate of theirs. (I dunno if HGTV airs local ads or not, I assume it does otherwise my guess is dead on arrival).

(9,916 posts)From shootings?
From poverty?
From child labor?
From religious indoctrination?
From tainted food, water and air?
From discrimination based on color, sexual preference, gender, ancestry?
From narrowly limited choices in reading material?
From child-marriage?
From sexual predators in clergy and a certain political party that doth protest too much, and cover up their crimes?
and so on?
Ron is wrong on all these points, as are all rethuglicans.

(19,204 posts)Did the ad say "paid for by the DeSatan for president campaign"?
It's probably a PAC funded ad. DeSatan wouldn't have to be declared in order for it to air. Not that there's any rules about it anyway. Anyone with the money to waste could air the ad.

(16,192 posts)were the backers of the one I saw. It ends with the tag line, "The president this country needs".
I almost broke the new teevee machine when I saw that.
