Looking forward to all the pageantry and Royal overkill! And obscenely jeweled crowns and crap. I can’t help it. I’m gonna eat it up with a spoon!

I’m gonna get the Call to Action email as finished as possible and sit back and drink tea all day and maybe eat a few sweets I shouldn’t eat and ENJOY! This is 70 years in the making and I’m looking forward to giving it a few hours, and we don’t even have to pay for it! And I’m gonna watch and maybe gossip with some girlfriends and get catty and maybe even doze off once or twice.

It’s gonna be a foolishly fun day!

I love all the royalty stuff. I got up ridiculously early to watch both of Charles’ weddings, William and Harry’s weddings too. Maybe I’ll make some scones for tea. Grandpa came over on the boat from Cornwall when he was a baby. I’m in touch with a cousin who’s still there and he thinks the whole thing is a waste of time and $$.

because that crown means he is head of the Church of England. Goes back to Henry VIII, when he decided he was head of the church. The First Amendment says there won't be that kind of state religion in the U.S.

So lacking in imagination!

King Arthur the second would have been better.

The Brits (mostly) love the pomp and ceremony of a coronation.

Almost as much as Americans love their guns.

I know which is less harmful.
