He thought he could fly overseas, create a little "news", and over-shadow whatever might come out of the E Jean Carrol rape trial. He would blame the judge for not letting him fly back and testify in his own defense. Once again, he was going to be the "victim".

However, the judge gave him to Sunday at 5 pm to decide whether or not he wanted to testify in his own defense.

But, the video of his deposition was released to the public and it was devastating for Trump's reputation and appearance. More or less, he admitted he was a "star" and he could grab women wherever he wanted, and that was "fortunate" for him, however "unfortunate" it might be for women? Trump did not want the narrative to end on this point.

So, he told his guests in Ireland and Scotland that he had to fly back to America to confront these god-awful charges against him.

Trump does not have any options in this matter. He does not want to testify in front of the jury. He does not want the trial to end at this point of definition either? So, he is stuck between the proverbial rock and hard place.

Pacific or Atlantic? I think he has until 2pm my time. This is just to tell the Court that they are going to file a motion on Monday. Amirite? So, he has an opportunity to manipulate the proceedings. Tell the Court he is, but then file a late motion in order to get the Judge to deny him the right to speak. Then appeal on that.

The way it could go, depending on how long it takes the Judge to instruct the jury, is...we could have a verdict by Monday night! More likely Tuesday, but I'll bet it doesn't take the jury very long to decide. There should be a bingo card. I'll take 2 hours. And, that's only if Donald testifies. Otherwise, one hour.

That deposition is very revealing. I got a much better idea of what kind of person Trump really is. People who call him stupid are not wrong. The man reacts on gut feelings and doesn't think through what he says. He doesn't know basic facts that most people would have known.

But what gives him a veneer of intelligence is that he is cunning. He was too stupid to be able to identify the woman accusing him in a photo (His lawyers had all the evidence, they should have briefed him on who was in the photo....well maybe they did and he was to stupid to remember.)

But he threw in that the photo was blurry and that's why he couldn't identify his wife from his accuser. He knew he made a mistake and he had to cover it up with a lie. Most people would not be so quick to lie over their mistakes like that. Several other times as the woman he clearly didn't like questioned him, he threw in insults and lies quickly and succinctly.

He tries to be intimidating and aggressive looking for every opportunity to insult and denigrate. But his stupidity doesn't let him know he comes across unlikable which won't help him with the jury.
