Many people initially supported the invasion and destruction of Iraq and have long since changed their minds.
Edit ah this is a joke. Sorry.

(29,381 posts)the character assasination on this web site just exhibits how dishonest even democrats can be when it comes to politics. It's extremely embarrassing. This isn't Obamaground.

This is a person who votes for Nader and constantly equates Democrats to Republicans. So enjoy the show while it last.

You've already lost the argument. "
Hedges never sued Bush and in fact hyped the War on Terror with NYT colleague Judith Miller. A lot of people were anti-war after the illegal invasion of Iraq."
"Really"?
...really, and if you don't like it, tough. Reading comprehension helps. Full comments and context:

Nothing at the links say "Hedges supported the invasion of Iraq," but if that's the level of your comprehension, who am I to question it?
The war was launched in 2003. The NYT received the Pulitzer in 2002. The fact is that the reporting contributed to the perception. That is not the same as saying he supported the war. He did in fact, help to hype the war on terror.

[div style="display:inline; background-color:#FFFF66;"]"A lot of people were anti-war after the illegal invasion of Iraq."
As the videos posted in this thread show, he was very much against the war before a shot was fired.
