There is a long stream about a 20 minute drive south of me. Its valley (in German, that's Tal or Thal) is named after the stream, the Neander. About 150 years ago, an important archaeological/anthropological find was made there. When California Peggy and Lionel Mandrake were here a few years ago, we even visited the museum on the site. Visitors are greeted by one of the few "friendly natives."
