Can anything be done about Gun magazine capacities?

I mean, i want AR-assault rifles outlawed! But would it be easier to allow 3 to 10 rounds instead of the guns? ( i mean for now) Like i stated before here, a duck hunters gun can hold only 3 shells. They fucking care more about ducks than humans. What would be the process to go after magazine limits?

and it was a battle to get there. Interestingly, it gave power to the NRA as they were able to beat some of the Democrats who voted for it. It was the crime bill and a host of other things, the BTU tax, Gays in the military, Hillary care......... But the NRA was quick to take credit for beating them

Is more palatable to the current Supreme Court than banning semiautomatic rifles. But republicans probably won’t support either.

Lots of great people in Texas! But still not quite enoug to vote out someone demonstrably awful like Governor Abbott. I think we’re getting close though

I read an article today that said the SC is considering a case that would make AR type weapons and high-capacity magazines legal everywhere in the country and would quash state and local laws that prohibit them. The source of the information was sketchy at best, so it may be bogus.

Lower Court judge said Assault Rifle laws unconstitutional.

SACRAMENTO (KGO) -- As early as this week, a federal judge could once again rule to overturn California's longstanding ban on assault weapons.

The ruling -- which would come from Judge Roger Benitez -- is believed to be imminent, according to Kostas Moros, a lawyer representing the California Rifle and Pistol Association. Moros said the final response briefs in the cases are due on Tuesday and Benitez could rule any time after that.

Advocates on both sides of the gun debate issue say they expect Benitez, who is known for ruling against California's gun control laws, will decide to strike down the three-decades long law.

It's working it's way through the Courts now and has already been overturned by lower Courts.

But there is no guarantee the courts won't stop it. Then there is the issue of what to do with the hundreds of millions, or even billions, of them in circulation. They are cheap to buy, cheap to make, and have been in production for decades now.

It's helpful to express which of these one means by that term:

1) Making it illegal to sell new, commercially
2) Making it illegal to sell, privately (and logically as new, commercially)
3) Illegal to carry, but okay to keep at home
4) Illegal to have at home, but no active enforcement unless cops stumble upon it
5) Agents come and inspect your home to make sure you don't have any.

"Ban" is a very poor choice of words whenever discussing gun stuff

And "Outlaw" has the exact same ambiguity.

It's not against the law to kill ducks. It's against the law to kill too many ducks. It's a wildlife conservation measure. The plugs that are required in shotgun magazine tubes are only required while you're actually hunting. You can legally remove them whenever you like, as long as you put them back in for hunting.

It is against the law to kill humans; any humans.
